1. Use Daily Hashtag Events
Daily hashtag events are a great way to mix up your tweets.

You can get a comprehensive list here.
These “events” not only increase your brand visibility, but also increase the chance of being discovered by new followers.
2. Share Your Blog Posts
Honestly, you shouldn’t even need to think about this.
Add them to your MeetEdgar “My Blog Posts” category, set the schedule, and forget about it.
A few questions you need to ask yourself before adding the blog post are:
- Will the blog post provide value to your followers?
- Will your followers find the blog post informative?
- Is the blog post topic relevant to your audience?
Focus on providing relevant, valuable information to your followers.
The more engaged your reader, the better your chances are of converting.
3. Tweet Quotes
Quotes are pretty awesome.
Mostly because they’re so easy and they also get pretty solid engagement.
All you have to do is google the persons name + quotes and they’ll be sitting right there for you.
Here’s an example:
If you’re going to tweet out a quote, don’t forget to give credit.
The image should increase your chances of being retweeted.
Bonus Tip: Create these tweets in batches and add them to a category in Edgar
4. Get Visual With Your Tweets
Have you recently watched a really compelling YouTube video?
Well, share the video on Twitter! And the same goes with images.
The human mind is pretty tuned to visual. Including images and videos in your tweets will likely improve engagement.
5. Random Thoughts — Don’t be Shy, Share Them
From time to time, we all have some pretty random thoughts and it’s absolutely fine to share them on Twitter.
You’ll be surprised at the level of engagement this can get. Especially, if the thoughts resonate with your audience.
6. Tweet Industry Related Breaking News
This is a great way to gain visibility.
Here’s a simple way to find recent, industry related news.
- Go to Google News and type in your search term.
- Click the “Search Tools” button.

7. Share a list Using List.ly
Have a list you want to share?
You can create a simple but powerful list using List.ly.
All you need to do is create a list (duh!) and click the share button.
This is a great way to create engagement with your followers.
8. Recommend ‘Something’ to Your Followers
Is there a particular product or service you’ve had a great experience with recently?
Share it with your followers.
This is a triple win.
You win by having something of value to tweet. Your followers win by learning of a new product that could help them. The provider wins by possibly gaining a new customer.
